Terms and Conditions

1. Inspection Scope

All inspections are carried out in accordance with Australian Standards:

  •  AS 4349.1 – Pre-Purchase Building Inspections
  •  AS 4349.3 – Timber Pest Inspections

The inspection is a visual assessment of accessible areas only and does not involve invasive testing unless otherwise agreed.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings can be made online, by phone, or email
  • Full payment is required prior to inspection
  • Payment methods are detailed on our Pay Now page

3. Report Delivery

  • Reports are delivered via email within 24 hours of the inspection
  • Reports are valid for the property and conditions observed at the time of inspection only
  • Reports should not be forwarded, copied or relied upon by third parties without written permission

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate property access details
  • Ensure we can access all required areas of the property (or advise of restrictions in advance)
  • Read the report in full and contact us if you have questions

5. Limitations & Exclusions

Our inspections:

  • Are visual only and exclude areas that are not readily accessible
  • Do not include valuation, environmental hazards, or specialist services such as electrical, plumbing or asbestos testing (unless stated otherwise)

6. Liability

Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection, unless otherwise required by law.
We hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

7. Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
